specialized training, such as: If your pregnancy care provider doesn't perform caesareans and
foresees a possible need for a caesarean, you will be referred to a
caesarean-trained doctor ahead of time. Your family medicine doctor or
registered midwife can assist with the
surgery and provide your follow-up care.
