Supraventricular TachycardiaSurgeryOpen-heart surgery for
supraventricular tachycardia is performed rarely and
is usually done only if surgery to remove abnormal electrical pathways (catheter
ablation) or other treatments cannot be used. If you have heart surgery
for another heart condition, catheter ablation may be done at the same
time.
