Choosing Child CareWhen to Call a Doctor Talk with your
family doctor,
general practitioner, or your child's
pediatrician about whether your child needs evaluation
or treatment when: - Exposed to someone with a serious contagious
illness, such as meningitis.
- A chronic health
condition, such as allergies, develops.
- An injury is treated with
first aid, but you are not sure it is enough.
- Behaviour problems
develop that you or your child care provider is not able to effectively manage.
