not be helpful include: - Taking medicine. Some medicines can cause
changes in the normal values of a chemistry screen.
- Eating high fat
foods or drinking alcohol.
- Recent
intravenous (IV) fluids, such as fluids given during
surgery.
- Vomiting.
- Diarrhea.
- Dehydration.
