Abnormal Pap TestOther TreatmentRemoval of the uterus (hysterectomy)
may be a treatment choice for some women who have had an
abnormal Pap test if both of the following are
true: - They are done having children.

They have other gynecological problems, such as heavy irregular bleeding that
does not improve with medication, that would also be treated with a
hysterectomy.
