Jerry S. Trier, MD - Internal Medicine/GastroenterologyDr. Trier is a professor emeritus at Harvard Medical School. He has
been a member of the gastroenterology division for more than 30 years, serving
as director for 15 years. Dr. Trier is past president of the American
Gastroenterological Association and a recent recipient of the Association's
Julius Friedenwald Medal for Lifetime Achievements in Gastroenterology. Dr. Trier is a senior physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital
and continues to participate in academic activities at Harvard. He has authored
or coauthored more than 210 basic and clinical original publications, reviews,
