Reduce life stress to relieve low back painLow back pain
can lead to a vicious cycle: Pain and the distress it causes can lead to tense
muscles in your lower back, which can in turn causes sleeplessness, inactivity,
irritability, depression, and more pain. Here are a few things you can do to relax your mind and your
muscles: - Take 10 to 15 minutes to sit quietly and breathe
deeply. Try to focus only on your breathing. If you can't keep thoughts away,
concentrate on things that make you feel good.
- Get involved in your
favourite hobby, or try a new activity that you think you would
enjoy.
- Talk to a friend, read a book, or listen to your favourite
music.
- Consult with a professional counsellor.
